Marijuana Use and Its Impact | Fact Check

States have increasingly legalized marijuana, but that action has not negated the drug's effects.

Did you know that marijuana products with high THC levels are linked to mental health problems like anxiety and psychosis? How about that the drug can slow brain development and hamper attention, learning, and memory? What about the fact that marijuana is the drug most often found in the blood of drivers involved in and frequently responsible for car crashes?

Recovery advocate and mother Carleah Summers discusses all this and more in a video by the nonprofit Partnership to End Addiction.
